What the Experts Say

About the Founder

I started Trulo because I wanted to bring objectivity to something that had become deliberately confusing: the impact of what we eat on blood glucose.

Diabetes and PCOD at home meant I was reading labels more carefully than most. And the more I read, the more I noticed a pattern - foods positioned as healthier simply because they were slightly different from something worse. "Diabetes friendly." "Weight loss." "PCOD hacks." Labels grew louder while the science behind them quietly disappeared.

I studied at IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta, and spent the better part of the last decade working at nutritional wellness companies across different countries. I saw how thoughtfully food can be designed when intent is clear. I also saw how rarely that happens at scale.

Trulo is my attempt to close that gap. Every product carries a clearly stated Glycemic Index. No positioning. No workarounds. Just food that's honest about what it does to your blood glucose.

How Trulo Compares

Loved by Our Families

I switched my regular sweetener to Trulo in chai. Honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference in taste — but I feel better about the ingredients I’m using daily.

The fiber mixes smoothly in water and even in atta. No weird texture, no aftertaste. Very easy to use.

- Amit P.

We didn’t want separate ‘diet food’ at home. Trulo works for everyone in the family.

Simple swaps, no complicated plans. That’s what I liked most.

Weight Management with GLP-1

You're not weak-willed. Your food is spiking the wrong hormones.

Low-GI foods raise GLP-1 (the fullness hormone) and suppress ghrelin (hunger). You feel satisfied longer - without counting calories.

 Fat Deposition

Chronic Glucose spikes don't just raise blood sugar - they build fat

Repeated insulin spikes convert excess glucose to triglycerides, depositing fat in the liver and belly. Low-GI eating breaks this cycle at the source.
